Neil Boyd is an author and a professor at Simon Fraser University, where he teaches courses related to law, crime and criminal justice policy. His comments appear often in the national media, and he is frequently heard on Canadian radio and television. He has worked on a wide variety of research projects and has written six books for both national and international markets. He is currently working on his seventh book, co-authored with Senator Larry Campbell, the former mayor of Vancouver. The Campbell and Boyd collaboration, The Road Ahead: Drugs, Violence and Making our Communities Safer, will be published by Greystone Books/Douglas & McIntyre in 2008.
