Aggression in Longterm Care
This monograph looks at the problem of aggression in long term care facilities in the province of British Columbia. The manuscript examines the origins of the problem of aggression, providing both a moving snapshot of life in long-term care, and the observations of those who work within these facilities. Boyd canvasses the views of the almost exclusively female work force of nurses, care aides and administrators, and concludes with eight recommendations for change.
